- 1 1/2 cup fresh ginger
- A handfull of fresh mint
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- Juice of half of a lemon
Chop and peel the ginger. Chop the mint. Place them in a pan with sugar and water. Stir it until it starts to boil. Let it boil for about 5 minutes. Then lower the heat and let it shimer for 1 hour.
Strain the shyrup into a glass jar and let it cool.
You can serve it just by adding water in beverages like tea or cocktails.
